  1. Why does Dante set Circle 3 as constantly raining / hailing / snowing? What connection does this type of weather have to gluttony? (pg 45)

    What does Virgil mean when he speaks of Ciacco and says that the "waiting dead wake to go searching for their unhappy tombs: ad resume again the form and flesh they had..."? (pg 49)

    Why doesn't Dante faint in this circle? (pg 49)

    Why do Virgil (and Dante) "confront" Plutus? (pg 49)
